Instructions

Each turn consists of up to three rolls of five dice. For each roll after the first (which gets done automatically for you), you have the option of keeping any number of dice. To do this check the keep check box next to the die you’d like to keep.

At any time in a turn you may choose to score your hand (of dice) by pressing the button for the scoring method on the score board.

Turns are repeated until all score bins are filled. Each score bin can only be filled once with the exception of the YahtzREE bin (See below for more details). If the hand shown does not match the score method you chose, you will get a score of zero for that bin.

Takeback un-does the last score you chose and begins a new hand. It is therefore possible to play to be unsportsmanlike and keep backing up and re-rolling so that you can get a really high score. So I have limited the number of takebacks to three.

35 bonus points are given for subtotals of 63 or greater.

Score Description
Ones – Sixes
Sum of all dice with the named value. If sum of Ones through Sixes (i.e. Subtotal) >= 63 then a bonus of 35 points is awarded.
3 of a Kind
Sum of all dice if 3 dice with the same value are in the hand.
4 of a Kind
Sum of all dice if 4 dice with the same value are in the hand.
Full House
25 points if the hand contains two of one value and three of another, or five of the same kind (which you will probably want to use for a Yahtzee score).
4 Straight / Small Straight
30 points if a sequence of 4 is in the hand (e.g. {1, 2, 3, 4}, {2, 3, 4, 5} or {3, 4, 5, 6} not necessarily in that order).
5 Straight / Large Straight
40 points if a sequence of 5 is in the hand (e.g. {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}, or {2, 3, 4, 5, 6}, not necessarily in that order).
YahtzREE
50 points for first 5 of a kind, and 100 points for each one thereafter.
Chance
Sum of all dice in hand.
